Slab track has developed from a special case into a standard form of construction – on high-speed lines, in tunnels and increasingly in urban transit. The handbook brings the track systems, their design principles and the applicable standards together in one place.
The third edition reflects the developments in standards and design since the previous edition. The part on slab track for metro and tram systems has been expanded.
